The router in your home network (the network to which you want to connect your iCON module) must not have MAC address restrictions enabled, otherwise the iCON modules will not be able to connect to your wireless network.

For the iCON module to connect to your wireless network, you will need at least one free IP address in the DHCP pool of your router. If there are no free adresses, the iCON module will not be able to connect to your Wi-Fi.

In order to create a stable wireless connection between each iCON module and your home Wi-Fi network, the signal strength of the network must not be lower than -70dBm. To ensure good and secure connectivity of your iCON module, it should be located as close as possible to your access point.

The iCON modules support IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless network standards and 2.4 GHz frequency. Please note that the modules do not support, nor operate at 5.8 GHz.
