Requirements for proper operation of the iCON modules

IMPORTANT

Before you add an iCON module in the app, make sure that:

  1. The Air Conditioner is turned off and it is in Standby mode;
  2. The mobile data on your smart device is turned off.

The installation of the iCON FGL modules must be done when the air conditioning system is switched off!

MAC address restrictions

The router in your home network (the network to which you want to connect your iCON module) must not have MAC address restrictions enabled, otherwise the iCON modules will not be able to connect to your wireless network.

Wi-Fi signal strength

In order to create a stable wireless connection between each iCON module and your home Wi-Fi network, the signal strength of the network must not be lower than -70dBm. To ensure good and secure connectivity of your iCON module, it should be located as close as possible to your access point.

Wi-Fi Connectivity

The iCON modules support IEEE 802.11 b/g/n wireless network standards and 2.4 GHz frequency. Please note that the modules do not support, nor operate at 5.8 GHz.
